Education
I am a passionate tutor who enjoys working with kids of all ages and ability levels! My educational background is in Nursing, so I am well-qualified to help students with science subjects such as biology and the life sciences. I am also knowledgeable in English and can tutor that as well. My preference is to work with K-8 students because I love explaining things to younger learners. I believe that every student is capable of reaching for their educational goals if the right supports are in place. I encourage my students to ask questions whenever they don't understand something to help me identify what the problem is and how to fix it. Likewise, I recognize that all students learn differently and that it's up to me as the instructor to accommodate their needs as best I can.
